01 / Concept
Your brand is
more than a logo - even in Derby
It's how you position yourself, what you stand for, and how consistently you show up. At Zadran, we help Derby-based businesses define their positioning, clarify their message and build a consistent identity.
A strong brand isn't decorative. It reduces friction, builds trust and makes every decision easier from your website to your marketing.
We work with founders and teams who want more than aesthetics; they want a brand that works as hard as their business.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Zadran Digital works with businesses in Derby and the surrounding Derbyshire area to develop brand strategies, visual identities and consistent brand systems.
Yes. A new brand usually starts with a workshop to settle who the business is for, what it stands for and how it should sound. From there we develop the name if one is needed, the positioning and messaging, then the visual identity and the guidelines that keep it consistent. Most projects of this kind take between two and eight weeks, depending on how much has to be decided along the way.
We do. The studio is small itself, so the work is scoped to what a young business actually needs first: a clear position, a name and logo that will last, and a handful of assets to launch with. The fuller system can follow once the business is trading. Each stage is quoted on its own, so you can stop after any of them.
Yes. A rebrand begins with what is worth keeping. We review how the current brand is recognised, what customers already associate with it and where it is holding the business back, then decide how far the change should go. Sometimes that is a refined identity and sharper messaging; sometimes it is a full repositioning. Either way the rollout is planned so that existing customers are carried along.
That is what positioning is for. We look at how the businesses around you describe themselves, find the ground none of them has claimed, and build the message and identity around it. The aim is a brand a customer can tell apart in a few seconds and describe accurately to someone else, which is a more reliable advantage than simply looking more polished than the firm next door.
